How Does the Process Work?

All 1-on-1 services are coaching-based and collaborative. Your engagement is key to ensuring success. 

With each new client, I do independent research into the types of jobs you will be pursuing. This helps me to understand the most relevant experience, skills, and keywords being required in your target industry. You can read more about services here, and view resume examples here.

Once I’ve completed revisions, you’ll have ample opportunity to review the first draft, ask questions, and/or request additional revisions. I’ll work with you to make sure you’re satisfied with the final product.

How Long Does It Take?

Depending on the service you choose, it can take anywhere from a few days up to a couple months. Since all 1-on-1 services are coaching-based and collaborative, you’re in charge of pacing a good portion of each program.

How Many Resume Revisions Do I Get?

Unlike many online “resume mill” services, I don’t have a set limit to the number of revisions you’re allowed.

Once I’ve completed sent you the first draft of your new resume, you’ll have ample opportunity to review it, ask questions, and/or request additional revisions.

Do I Get to Talk to and/or Work with My Coach / Resume Writer?

You’ll have the choice of working with me via email, phone, or a combination of the two – whatever best fits your style.

What do I Need to Provide?

The process begins with an application to assess your needs and whether my services will be a fit for you.

In What Formats Does the New Resume Come?

You will receive a fully editable Word document version of your resume, and a PDF version. The Word document should be used in all online applications, while the PDF should be used for printing and for sending directly to someone as an email attachment.

All resumes are written with the goal of being successful in online Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and with recruiters/hiring managers.

How Do I Make Payment?

All payments are handled via Stripe invoice, which I will send via email and you will have the option to pay with a credit/debit card. Services will begin once your payment is made.

Is All Payment Due Up Front?

In most cases I require the full payment for all services up front. However, I have been known to make some exceptions. Please don’t hesitate to request a payment plan if necessary. I will work with you as much as possible to make it work for both of us.
